Falstaff Wine Guide Italy 2022/23

This winery is one of the protagonists of Etna's oenological renaissance in the name of quality and respect for its own identity. It is located on the northern slope of the volcano, in Passopisciaro, an area with a thousand-year-old winemaking tradition. The vineyards, with a density of 6,000 to 10,000 vines per hectare, lie between 600 and 1,000 meters above sea level and are partly planted in the open. Only indigenous grape varieties were planted: Nerello Mascalese, Carricante and Catarratto. The vineyards are certified organic.
