An impressive villa, an important winemaking tradition and a family that continues this tradition with passion: the Begnoni family. Their Santa Sofia winery is located in Pedemonte in the province of Verona, in one of the most beautiful and fascinating areas of classic Valpolicella. The historically significant villa has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996. Over the decades, Santa Sofia has built up a reputation as a successful company that has developed from a "small, high-quality winery" into one of the most important and significant wineries in the Veronese region.

The Santa Sofia winery, run by Giancarlo and Luciano Begnoni, is located in Pedemonte near Verona, in one of the most beautiful areas of Valpolicella. The estate was already famous in the mid-19th century for the exceptional quality of its wines, which were produced with carefully selected grape varieties on the particularly suitable and well-situated terroirs of the surrounding hills. Over the years, Santa Sofia has become one of the most important companies in the Veronese area. The wines are exported to more than 60 countries.
