Vinařství Lahofer is a pioneering winery in the Czech Republic that follows traditional winemaking practices and uses modern production technologies. The company has developed into one of the largest wineries in the country and today has 430 hectares of its own vineyards exclusively in the Znojmo wine sub-region. Quality is at the forefront of the company's philosophy: it has won the 2020 and 2021 "Winery of the Year" award in the large winery category.
The headquarters are located in an architecturally exceptional and award-winning building designed by architects Ondřej Chybík and Michal Krištof, which not only combines production and administrative functions, but also has a cultural and social significance. The organic shape of the "concrete wave" blends effortlessly into its surroundings with its elegant relief. The winery's philosophy is to produce juicy wines with a balanced ratio of acidity and natural residual sugar. In addition to the "Base" and "Standard" product lines, it also offers wines from the VOC Znojmo appellation system and the unique "Wave" line of unusual wines. The results of their work are repeatedly recognised by expert committees at major international and national wine fairs.
