Falstaff Wine Guide Germany 2026

This is a really strong debut in our guide! Amelie and Matthias Meurer took over the family winery in the third generation a few years ago. They believe (and we believe with them): The steep sites with slopes of up to 80 per cent will only be able to be preserved by producing wine qualities that are just as exceptional as the vineyards themselves. Consequently, we were not only presented with a very good basic Riesling, but also two archetypal Kabinett wines, and then, at the top of the collection, two very convincing "Réserve" wines from the 2019 vintage.
