Josef Wurzinger is known as the white wine winemaker of the Seewinkel region in Burgenland. The fruitiness, finesse and freshness of his white wines surprise many wine lovers who would rather assign such wines to Styria. But his red wines are also very popular, above all the Zweigelt Heideboden, with which Josef Wurzinger has already won second place at the "Falstaff Zweigelt Grand Prix", and the Cuvée vom Kreuzjoch from Zweigelt, Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which particularly impresses with a juicy fruit, ripe and soft tannins and a special drinking animation. With the single-varietal red wines, the dedicated winemaker also shows a good feeling for vinification and the right use of wood. Josef Wurzinger attaches particular importance to the right harvest time and the sorting of the healthy grape material, which is the basis for good wines. He invests a particularly large amount of time and passion in the vinification and ageing of his wines.
