The red wine Loto IGT, vintage 2015 from the winery Villa Santo Stefano has been rated in 2018 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright fresh fruit: blackberry, elderberry, menthol, subtle wood and floral overtones, but also some cigar box. Substantial on the palate yet fruit-driven, mealy, impeccably ripe tannins, rather mild acidity, integrated alcohol, powerful and punchy wine that is already accessible but will also age very well.
