The white wine »Urgestein« Riesling trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Weingut Trenz has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Riesling from the region Rheingau in Germany.
On the nose, aromas of tangerine and pineapple, also glucose and some slightly floral notes. The medium-bodied palate is juicy and balanced with spicy aromatics, and gently supporting sweetness behind the firm Rheingau acidity. The noticeably tactile-mineral notes fulfil the label's promise of "Urgestein".
