On the nose, aromas of tangerine and pineapple, also glucose and some slightly floral notes. The medium-bodied palate is juicy and balanced with spicy aromatics, and gently supporting sweetness behind the firm Rheingau acidity. The noticeably tactile-mineral notes fulfil the label's promise of "Urgestein".
