Some wood, chestnut, freshly mashed banana. Roasted sesame. Silky and almost oily on the palate, ripe, well-integrated acidity, a powerful structure with texture and savouriness, good density, slight sweetness, has power and balance. Ideal with cream sauces.
More about the tastingWith fruit present on the nose, the wood serves here as a spice rather than a flavor carrier. Dried fruit and mild spices on the nose, creamy on the palate with a good melt and fine fruit. Rustic on the palate with coarse wood and noticeable alcohol on the finish.
