The red wine Imperium, vintage 2016 from the winery Allacher Vinum Pannonia has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby with purple reflections and a delicate lightening at the rim. On the nose there is intense black berry fruit, a hint of eucalyptus, ethereal, with some oak notes and candied orange zest. The palate is juicy, with some cassis, mint, black berries, vivid tannins, a touch of chocolate and a mineral aftertaste, with some toasty aromas on the aftertaste.
