The red wine Imperium, vintage 2019 from the winery Allacher Vinum Pannonia has been rated in 2022 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Lake Neusiedl in Austria.
Deep dark ruby colour with opaque core, purple reflections and delicate ochre brightening on the rim. Nuances of blackberries with herbal savoury notes in the background, some cassis and black heart cherries, noble oak hints. Complex, tight, dark berries, vivid tannins, chocolatey finish, good length, some caramel, will benefit from bottle ageing.
