Intense ruby red, with some brightening on the rim. Opens with slightly malty tones, preserved plums, refined savoury notes. Lots of ripe berries on the palate, especially blackberries, also plums, wonderful finely meshed tannins, fresh, with lovely tension, amazingly fresh fruit, long and lingering, absolutely smooth.
