The red wine Fieramonte Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Allegrini has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 97 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense, dark ruby with a fine garnet rim. Dense and captivating on the nose, opening with notes of cold coffee, cinnamon and cardamom, then lots of yellow-fleshed plum, blackberry and wild raspberries. Powerful on the attack and on the palate, with rich dark fruit notes, lots of blackberry, plus some dark chocolate, grippy tannins in many layers.
