The red wine La Poja Corvina Veronese Verona IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Allegrini has been rated in 2025 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 98 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Corvina from the region Veneto in Italy.
Elegant bright ruby in colour. Opens on the nose with rich notes of red peach, embedded with fine mint tones, hints of elderflower and orange, subtle nuances of sugared raspberries and cherries. Polished on the palate, with a creamy texture, hints of mint and taut tannins, very elegant, yet powerful at the same time, a beautiful salinity and a long, lingering finish. Great!
