Tasting Notes
Deep ruby colour, purple reflections and a broad ochre rim. Fine red forest-berry confit, nuances of preserved sweet cherries, floral touches and mineral notes underlaid with candied grapefruit. Close-meshed, delicate and elegant on the palate, red forest berries, finely structured with fine, integrated tannins and savoury hints. Lively and persistent, with nuances of damp stones, secure development and ageing potential. A kind of Burgundian Grand Cru from Rioja. (PM, ageing, 2028 - 2060).
