Tasting from 07.10.2022: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Dark, bright ruby red core with subtle brightening on the rim. Aromas are slightly savoury with nuances of dried rose petals, cherry and tobacco. On the palate, firm, grippy tannins, deep and rich red fruit, saline touches and a very complex finish. Still noticeably young, will require time but will offer great pleasure when ready.

More about the tasting

Bright ruby red. Blood orange on the nose, a delicate hint of grapefruit, then ripe raspberry and rose hips, delicately savoury. Great tension and profound fruit on the palate, tightly woven tannin builds up in many layers, keeps coming back, long finish.
