The red wine »Lösswand« Spätburgunder im Barriquefass ausgebaut trocken, vintage 2023 from the winery Arndt Köbelin Weingut has been rated in 2025 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Spätburgunder from the region Baden in Germany.
Slightly balsamic on the nose, sour cherry, also redcurrant, and just a hint of (large) wooden barrel. On the palate the wine has a beautiful density, a fleshy, very well extracted tannin. Fruit, acidity and juiciness play together beautifully. Wonderful Kaiserstühler classic!
