The red wine 8 Vents Vino de la Terra Mallorca IGP, vintage 2017 from the winery Atlan & Artisan has been rated in 2020 by Herzog & Vombach with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Manto Negro, Callet from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
A very distinctive nose with aromas of dried tomato, chilli, cassis and dark chocolate. Powerful on the palate, the tannins build from fine grained and smooth to almost oily in nature, sweet fruit and seamlessly well integrated acidity and alcohol. The wine still seems very youthful and compact and will keep for a further ten years or more. .
