The red wine La Carraia Selection Schwander, vintage 2014 from the winery La Carraia has been rated in 2017 by Sautter, Ulrich with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot from the region Umbria in Italy.
Spicy wood, balsamic spice and very ripe black cherry, with overtones of woodruff and garden herbs. A full-bodied yet sweet palate, somewhat milder than fleshy, but at the same time with enough structure to hold its own at the table, e.g. with an osso buco with gremolata.
