Tasting from 29.11.2017: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Bright ruby with a fine garnet edge. Opens on the nose with fine spice notes - some leather and coriander - then ripe wild raspberry and cherry. Supple and velvety, showing many layers of fine-mesh tannin and ripe cherry, and building richly towards a hearty finish. Still seems quite closed.
