The red wine Le Miniere di Novare Valpolicella Classico DOC, vintage 2020 from the winery Bertani has been rated in 2022 with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
On the nose, there are initially notes of blood orange, then rich raspberry and cherry, a hint of chestnut honey, very inviting. Balanced and very clear on the palate, spreads out with hearty red berry fruit, slightly salty undertone, calls for a second sip. Goes particularly well with a margherita when served cool.
