The red wine San Zeno Nizza DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Bianco Angelo has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Very dark, rich ruby red. Initially slightly malty on the nose, then notes of chocolate powder, toast and ripe cherry fruit on the aftertaste as well as dried plums. A lot of texture and a rich fruit core on the palate, full-bodied and radiant, shows some saltiness, juicy tannins, hearty and long on the finish.
