Tasting from 02.12.2022: Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler

Bright, rich ruby red. A bit restrained on the nose at first; fumé, toasted hazelnut, parmesan cheese rind, then opens up on rich cherry fruit and raspberry confit. On the palate, full-bodied, with balanced body and polished texture, plus nice juiciness. Very elegant with firm drive on the finish.
