The red wine San Zeno Nizza DOCG, vintage 2021 from the winery Bianco Angelo has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Dark cherry red with a dense core. Rum-steeped fruit and inkwell on the nose, also reminiscent of blackberry confit. Hearty on the palate, dried forest berries, vanilla, with grippy tannins, somewhat brittle on the finish.
