The red wine Binigrau Negre Vino de la Terra Mallorca IGP, vintage 2014 from the winery Binigrau Vins i Vinyes has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Manto Negro, Callet, Merlot from the region Balearic Islands in Spain.
Deep ruby, purple reflections, delicate lighter rim. On the nose gentle floral character underpinning black berry fruit, a hint of sour cherry, and a touch of nougat. Complex, taut texture, well-integrated tannins, mineral, pronounced fruit, and underpinned with good fruit on the finish. It has definite ageing potential.
