Tree sap, macchia, menthol and eucalyptus. Also black cherry, and some plum. On the palate mellow and almost creamy, a lively acidity, which does not eclipse the ever-present impression of roundness - albeit with an abundant extraction - ripe and fine-grained tannins, a wonderful density, still a compact, introverted wine, great ageing potential.
