The red wine Descarte Toro DO, vintage 2013 from the winery Bodega Elías Mora has been rated in 2016 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tinta de Toro from the region Castile and Leon in Spain.
Black pepper and cherry confit, cocoa bean, forest floor, wormwood. The palate is densely filled with ripe tannins, a sort of soft astringency, mild, well-integrated acidity, chewy but without harshness, extracted in a relaxed and natural way, juicy fruit on the finish. Excellently extracted wine with style and class.
