Tasting Notes
Medium amber, gold reflections. On the nose dried fruit underpinned with gentle notes of resin, ethereal, mineral, multi-faceted, and with candied orange peel. Complex on the palate, pronounced fruit, some prune, fig and hazelnut, still seems very light on its feet for all its power, and it persists well. It is a good example of this style that has become rare.
More about the tastingMedium amber, golden reflections. Delicate dried fruit notes, fine pine resin, ethereal hints, mineral, incredibly multi-faceted, candied orange zest. Extremely complex, racy, subtle acidity, figs, mineral-salty, fine hazelnut aromas, remains wonderfully persistent, appears light-footed, a perfect mix of the two varieties, convincing in every phase, great length.
