Deep, dark, opaque, chocolate brown with a fine golden-green rim. On the nose, smoky notes, hints of cold ash, caramel and nougat, prunes and dark chocolate with a subtle leafy savouriness. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, honey-sweet with a lingering finish. The sugar conceals the considerable acidic structure, breathing life into this colossus.
