The crémant Salasar »Carte Azur« Crémant de Limoux Brut NV from the winery Maison Salasar has been rated in 2024 by Peter Moser, Gerhild Burkhard, Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach, Ulrich Sautter, Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir from the region Limoux in France.
Rich, bright golden yellow with green reflections. Ripe conference pear on the nose, with some notes of blossom honey, a little buttercream and ripe pineapple. The bubbles lie smoothly on the palate, with a pleasant interplay of sweetness and acidity and a fine tart touch. Juicy quince shows on the finish, which has medium length. A good aperitif.
