The red wine Ilatraia, vintage 2013 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2016 by Othmar Kiem with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, brilliant ruby-purple. Very clear, precise nose with lots of dark berry fruit, aromas of elderberries and blackberries, underpinned by fine spicy components and some cardamom. Very juicy palate marked by its fresh fruit, dark cherries and pomegranate, opens with lots of compact, finely meshed tannin, builds up to a long, long finish.
