When the Swiss Widmer family realised their dream of owning their own vineyard in Tuscany in 1980, they perhaps had no idea that just a few years later their vineyard would be one of the region's grandees. The Widmers had set themselves the goal of uncompromisingly striving for the highest quality. Today, daughter Barbara runs the winery with the same ambition and just as successfully. The wines reflect this special quality as well as respect for nature. They have long enjoyed a legendary reputation among connoisseurs and enthusiasts.
