The red wine Ilatraia Toscana Rosso IGT, vintage 2019 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, intense ruby in colour. Opens with lightly smoky notes on the nose, then lots of spices, coriander seed and cardamom. Finally dark plum also emerges. Rich and intense in attack and course, the palate opens with gripping, hearty tannins but also shows plenty of juicy fruit and a long finish.
