The red wine Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG, vintage 2019 from the winery Brancaia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 95 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a delicately brightening rim. Initially delicately leathery and savoury on the nose, then pepper and malt, with fine fruity nuances on the finish. Radiant on the palate, very fruity with fine salty notes in the undertone, shows good drive, at the same time very elegant and full of finesse, lingers for a long time.
