Brilliant, rich ruby in colour with a slight purple shimmer. Opens on the nose with notes of mint and smoke, then rich raspberry and dark currant. Juicy and hearty on the attack and on the palate, again with a core of crisp dark berry fruit, allied to gripping tannins which help create firm drive on the finish.
