The red wine Barolo DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Bric Cenciurio has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Medium strong, bright garnet with a brightening rim. Pronounced aroma of cedar wood and resin, pickled blueberry and cocoa bean, needs plenty of air. Full of tension on the palate, very precise on the palate, shows compact tannins in interplay with juicy acidity, very vivid on the finish, but with a clear bitter note.
