Very dark colour. Intense, southern nose with dark fruits such as blueberry and cassis, plus notes of leather, barrel savouriness and coffee, subtly vegetal. Complex and elegant. Opens up further with air and becomes increasingly fruity, notes of plum. Beautiful fullness and elegance on the palate. Fine tannins, beautiful freshness, but also a certain astringency on the finish.
