The sweet and dessert wine Verduzzo Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2017 from the winery Butussi has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Verduzzo Friulano from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Lightest chestnut brown with golden accents. Somewhat washed out on the nose of candied orange peel and quince, subtle tobacco notes and light leather. Dense and full-bodied on the palate, spreads out well, shows drive and runs with a fine interplay between sweetness and bitterness into the medium-long finish.
