The red wine Dalpin Pignolo Riserva Friuli Colli Orientali DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Butussi has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pignolo from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Bright ruby red with garnet reflections. Intense notes of cinnamon and clove on the nose, some orange peel and cranberry. Grippy and gripping tannins on the palate, dark fruit aromas paired with herbs, unfortunately somewhat drying on the finish.
