The red wine Villa Blanche Syrah, vintage 2024 from the winery Calmel & Joseph has been rated in 2025 by Romana Echensperger with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Pays d'Oc IGP in France.
A Syrah with a dark, intense purple colour. Powerful aromas of plums, pepper, olive tapenade, chocolate and liquorice on the nose. There are also notes of smoked bacon and ripe tomatoes. Full-bodied and melt-in-the-mouth like chocolate on the palate. Supple but strong tannin structure, full body and intense fruit. A first-class "mouthful of wine".
