The red wine Barolo Perno DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Cantina del Nebbiolo has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Barolo in Italy.
Brilliantly shining garnet with a transparent core. Inviting aroma of milk chocolate and fine roasted notes, with a slight hint of caramel and dried blackberry. Flows smoothly on the palate, shows beautiful fullness and texture, somewhat loosely knit tannins and clear woody notes, but quite harmonious on the finish, well done!
