The sparkling wine Cuvée Monogram Franciacorta Rosé DOCG Brut from the winery Castel Faglia has been rated in 2024 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Chardonnay, Pinot Noir from the region Lombardia in Italy.
Light, bright onion colour with fine mousse. Intense nose of brioche and candied apricots. Well-integrated, medium-fine mousse on the palate, very juicy and a very ripe fruit core.
More about the tastingBrilliant orange-pink. The nose is very ripe with candied fruit, coconut flakes, pickled cherries and walnut. The palate has a vivid and well-integrated mousse, is also juicy but unfortunately has a bitter, overripe finish.
