The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Castellinuzza has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Canaiolo nero from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright, luminous ruby. Very fine and fragrant nose, shows notes of fresh cherry and saffron, open-hearted. Juicy and clear on the palate, shows a lot of ripe fruit, sweet texture, fine-meshed tannin, good tension, long finish.
More about the tastingRich ruby with garnet rim. Somewhat restrained nose, subtle aromas of cherries and blackberries. Full-bodied, vivid tannins on the palate, builds well, slightly resinous notes on the finish, grippy.
