The red wine Lupicaia IGT, vintage 2006 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2010 with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Rich, impenetrable ruby purple colour. Initially shows slightly aromatic notes on the nose, of nutmeg, plum and redcurrant, some tobacco. Opens on the palate with taut, gripping tannins, builds richly, emphasises salty-mineral components, hearty and profound, still has a lot of certain ageing potential.
