The red wine Lupicaia IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Castello del Terriccio has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear, intense ruby with a slight purple shimmer. Initially somewhat restrained on the nose, with hints of cloves, plums and blackberries. Round at the beginning and with fruit present, but then shows a lot of drying tannins on the finish, which is still brittle.
