The red wine Chianti Classico DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Castello di Cacchiano has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Tasting Notes
Substantial, dark ruby. Shows notes of beetroot on the nose, then tobacco and some cherry. A lot of material, densely meshed tannin, spreads out richly, is only at the beginning of its development and still needs a long ageing time, very powerful.
