The red wine Alleanza Toscana IGT, vintage 2013 from the winery Castello di Gabbiano has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, rich ruby red with dark core. Nose of pine needles and pitch, balsamic, reverberating black currants with sugar. Very velvety on the palate with tightly woven tannins and fine texture, dark chocolate in the middle with a sweet aurround, long yet light-footed finish.
