Tasting Notes
Rich, impenetrable ruby with violet shimmer. Opens with dark berry fruit, blackberry and elderberry, also some plum, with a slight hint of dark chocolate in the background. Present and full-bodied on the palate, shows ripe berry fruit in the attack, opens with dense tannins, pithy, still a little edgy on the finish, additional ageing can work wonders here.
