The red wine Cuvée des Empereurs, vintage 2012 from the winery Cave La Romaine has been rated in 2017 by Martin Kilchmann with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Grauburgunder from the region Sierre in Switzerland.
Strong red; bouquet of good intensity, red fruity notes, sour cherry, currant, also some leather; relatively soft attack on the palate, medium-bodied, present acidity, rich tannins, aromas of ripe cherry, pepper; juicy finish. Well composed, perhaps lacking a little in Humagne typicity.
