Tasting from 22.03.2023: Ulrich Sautter

On the nose: clear new wood (nougat, allspice) and a mineral-toned cherry fruit, black cherry, black cherry confit. Forest honey, In the mouth the wine has fire, lots of juice and ripe, tactile-mineral underpinned tannin. The well-integrated acidity gives the fruit radiance, the powerful alcohol becomes noticeable but at no point stands isolated. A hunk of wine.
